Lafangey Parindey - Review

An almost typical story of a small time girl on trying to break out of her poverty and then tragedy strikes because of the hero but the fights back obviously with the help of the hero.
The female lead Pinkie (Deepika ) wants to win a television show so as to get her ticket out of poverty . She is training hard as a skater. Then tragedy strikes and she is in a hit and run case by the protagonist (NNM) during a mafia heist.

The story fails to connect to the audience emotionally at important junctions of the story. First the recovery of Pinky was portrayed very casually. She very easily recovers after the accident and resumes her practice for the show, inspite of the fact that she lost her eye sight during the accident. Moreover their interaction with the judges was also a very crucial thing which coulkd have been added. The dialogues could have been more intense as they are moments where a small motivational talk could have been added. The last dance was pretty good as there was quite some word done by the lead actors. But the same mistake again no talk by the actors. Moreover there was not much emphasis put on the elimination on the journey to the final. The story tried to add a little emphasis to the ongoing investigation on the hit and run case.
One very important thing which remained un answered was why did the protagonist only had to fight with a blind fold to his eyes?
